Hi,

Just been in my loft, rummaging around for things and accidentally placed my foot onto the floor of the loft. I now have a cracked ceiling in one of the bedrooms !!

The crack is a small hole, with long cracks - approx 50cm long in irregular lines. The ceiling is artex and I plan to get it skimmed in the near future.

How can I repair please?

DOH!!

if it was just the hole you wanted to repair you could take a peice of plasterboard up into the loft with you cut it to size put some plasterboard addy around the edge and place it over the hole, then go down and fill the recess with bonding, but seeing you have cracks around the hole i would cut back the plaster board to the nearest joist do this so that half the width of the joist is showing then cut a piece of plasterboard to fit and screw it up then get it all skimmed
