Forced ventilation of gas oven under hob

Planning new kitchen layout, found gas oven and separate gas hob I like but hob instructions say "Oven must have forced ventilation to install a hob above it". The oven is a fan assisted Belling.

Can someone please explain what is meant by this?

From my understanding the oven has a cooling fan but ventilation cut outs are required
