I may be on holiday/at-a-week-long-wedding in Devon, but that hasn't stopped me thinking about gazelles, or maybe it's an antelope.
Anyway, I saw a programme on TV yonks back, and it was about these gazelles I think that lived in forests, but they couldn't work out why an animal built for running was living in a forest. They eventually realised this forest was encroaching on the plains so this animal was trapped and slowly declining because it's natural habitat was in decline.
Or something like that anyway. Can anyone tell me what this animal is? I would like to read more about it.
