We're just laying a wide patio circa. 15m x 6m and I plan to install some 100mm insulation boards over an area of approx. 4x5m in case I build a conservatory in the future.
What size foundation should I allow assuming good soil (we built an extension a few years ago which confirms this). Would 600mm be sufficient for a retaining wall and aluminium frames?
