Met the engineer from the DNO today about having the service head moved - doesn't sound too bad, but we'll see what price they come back with. Annoyingly it was looked at a few years ago and they'd agreed to move it for nothing - but the person tasked with sending the form in "didn't understand the form" and did nothing No chance of getting it free now, but the DNO guy said he'd do what he could.
He also said that as it's a smart meter, we'll have to get our supplier to move that. The DNO has moved them in the past and had them lose connectivity - so they don't move them any more.
At least the church isn't used much during the week, so we are more flexible than most users about having the power off for a while.
