My friend has just come back from France where he bought a toilet which he wants me to install in place of an old one in his upstairs en-suite. The problem I see is that the pan has a 100mm soil outlet rather than a 110mm. His current soil pipe is a standard 110mm. Whats the easiest solution (he wont be going back to France 'till next year!).

Try black flexi fitting, should do it. Just tighten up the jubilee clip :)

I thought the pan standard was 4" which is 101.6mm. A standard pan connector pushes on the french pan & goes into the 110mm soil pipe.

Sorry, I posted saying exactly what Murray said. Then I thought "Nah, that's too easy, I must be wrong!" so erased the post.

Seems I should have left it and taken the credit!
