Hi, the fridge part of our fridge freezer, which we inherited when we moved in keeps flooding. I'm assuming its due to the ice on the back wall defrosting. It does look like there is a drain but this doesn't seem to work.

anyone know if there is a simple fix our even if its normal. Money is very tight at the moment so don't really want to change it..

Thanks in advance,

Daz.

The whole at the back leads to a drain pipe that usually goes down to an evaporator tray above the compressor.

You need to clean out the pipe (most of the time it only gets clogged up at the top), use a pipe cleaner or something similar and gently rod it out, you will probably get a bit of slimy gunge out.

Thank you very much for your reply, pipe cleaners on order. Thanks daz.
