Only blocked it for four hours and a tower is easily shifted. For the critical times the door opening was accessible. I was also worried that a permanent scaffold would hinder propping and could give no definitive guarantees about erection or striking of the scaffold.
I couldn't work out whether it was expensive or cheap when I was pricing it. However, as a fill-in job it worked out ok. I own all my own gear i.e. tower, boards, breaker, grinder, mixer, transformer etc etc, all the usual, so I only had to fork out for 240 bricks and 1/4 tonne of sand and a few bags of dust. Oh and my ever faithful right arm for two days pay.
Cleared £900.
I'll never be rich but I'll always sleep at nights.
