Got a problem with my hot & cold water. Nothing comin thro taps!!! My guess in this weather is that ive got a plug of ice somewhere in the pipes. Does anyone know how i can resolve this issue other than wait for the ice to thaw??? Would apprehiate any advice.

Get some heat in the affected area if possible, hair dryer on accessible pipework in vulnerable areas. Beware, if it has frozen the pipe could have split, so will gush water once it thaws......

Use an RCD socket for the hair dryer, unless you know that the circuit is on an RCD at the consumer unit.

just to add that the most likely places to freeze first are valves and shut offs
