No, you need proper fuel tubing......some plastic tubing simply melts.
Fine for oil delivery though! Thats a mighty big tube for a chainsaw......have I got this right?

Just for my interest, what saw is it?
John :)
Its a McCulloch PM310 (1986 model). The line might have swollen and as you implied 3x6 mm tube might be better. The carb inlet tube is just over 4mm and the tank hole is just over 5.5 mm.

Sure, thats an old 'un....horizontal cylinder and that......any fuel pipe needs to be a good fit through any grommets where the fuel tank is concerned. Any internal diameter will do as its a small capacity saw.
John :)

yes its old but good and there are no grommets on the tank, its just a squeeze fit. I ve found a supplier but dont like their charges. cheers!

the one thing halfords sell for the correct price is fuel line and rubber hose by the metre. you have to ask for at the workstation where they do number plates and sell type specific car parts. dont go buy a package piece for a fiver! by the metre is closer to £1..innit
