Hi i wonder if any one can help.This laptop is about 2 months old but has just started to run very slowly.We had warnings to say there were problems but all the fixes it says it does will not change the speed.Have tried to restore setting but windows wont allow.Is there a way to restore it back to the date when we got the laptop.We have not installed any other programs.Thanks for any advice peter

Running windows vista? What are the specifications? Memory etc?

Google "using system restore in vista" for advice on using system restore, which will undo any major changes.

Have you done a virus scan using updated antivirus software?

Do you suspect some malware infection?

Do you have anti-virus software?

Do you have anti-spyware software?
