Morning all.
Predictably I've just bought a house with an ex-ADT Galaxy 60 alarm installed. Looks like it hasn't been used since around 2010. Circuit breaker was off, battery long dead, last replaced 2008!
We've got the main panel with a smart PSU and another Rio upstairs. 4 PIRs and two door contacts. The door contacts are connected to the panel downstairs and the PIRs to zone 1,2,3 & 4 on the upstairs Rio. There is also a fire/smoke detector on the landing.
Zone 4 is showing a tamper when I try to exit engineer mode, not checked the sensor yet. My concern is zones 5 & 6. Zone 6 is current showing as open. I'm assuming the fire / smoke sensor is attached to this zone(s) but can find no instructions on the internet. The wiring looks a bit suspect for this but can't be sure as no instructions! Did ADT install a common model?
I will grab a picture of the detector next time I'm there. It's my mum's house.
Could one of you Galaxy experts assist and cast your eye on the picture I've uploaded.
Much appreciated.
