Hi , to be honest i didnt get any consent to do it, having said that the garage is atteched to the house and has a full cavity wall, and insulation. The window is FENSA gaurenteed, and the floor has block polystyrene insulation under the joists. The only thing i would need is change of use from garage to habital accomadation. The only snag will be when i come to sell the house. They cant make me change anything but i may need to get an imdenity policy to cover the works, this costs about £30 .
