Not usually, depends on exactly what paint you're using. You'll need 2 coats for certain, stuff I used said for 1st coat thin with white spirit. Someone else on here suggested thinned oil-based undercoat for the 1st coat- floor paint is expensive, don't believe what it says on the tin about coverage.
Don't use undercoat on the floor. Garage floor paint can make undercoat unstable and start to go like crocodile skin. Use a thinner coat of the floor paint first then as many full coats as you can after. The more the better really for good results. Make sure you keep any weight off it for a few days as the suction of tyres could lift it.
