can i ask what work would need to be done we have a garage half in side the house and half out side (flat roof) the roof is fine and the floor is flat so does this mean all that needs to be done is


brick the garage door up (window)
plaster the walls
put carpet down

is that it or am i missing something?

Yes, quite a few significant things.

A foundation for the new wall. Or a design which will be acceptable without the need for a foundation.

Insulation to the floor, walls and ceiling

Some method of preventing damp ingress to the floor and wall.

The electrical supply and capacity of the existing consumer unit

Is means of escape a consideration?
