Has anyone done this or got any thoughts on it? Not to use as bare floorboards but if planning a suspended timber floor with laminate or engineered wood as the eventual finish they look very price competitive compared to chipboard, not to mention easier to put down & far more resilient in damp conditions

my thoughts
less selective so more knots
designed to be gappy ??
a bit tooo-- much thicker ??
far less uniformity in finished size as outdoor use
you want funky steam punk and daft --- go for it a great talking point (y)(y)
want quiet and easy  maybe not

Ta- i've actually lashed some in as a temporary floor & yeah board width especially is a bit random. Not planning on doing it- i like varnished redwood t & g - just curious. Thickness would be a problem if you were just replacing floorboards but if the joists needed doing as well....
