Hi
We are going to put in a new patio so thought it might be the right time to consider some lighting. I'd get the work done by a part P qualified person but was just after some advice on what to go for.

I have seen low voltage kits on the DIY stores but wasn't sure if it was best to go for these or mains voltage?

Considering the great weather we have, I'm Also mindful of how well they wear. Are there any rcommended makes to look at? The type of thing we were looking for was some small down lighters for a 1metre high wall and possibly some of the "brick" style lenses that fit in the Walls too.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Endon and JCC do a good range but can be expensive. There is plenty of choice so really depends on your budget and tastes. Probably best to chat with your electrician and talk through your ideas with him/her.

Part P is part of the building regulations and not a qualification!
