Garden shed

I need a garden shed to store mower/bikes/tools and will be grateful for some advice.

I know OSB floor is the cheaper end, but will it be sufficient for light use?

If I put timber bearings on ground as a base, damp will ultimately rise to damage shed - what precaution can I take against this? should I simply lay a DMP plastic membrane on bearings.

Hi,

OSB Floors are fine as long a floor rails are spaced no more than MAX 600mm Centres as for the ground bearers as long as they are spaced again no more than 600mm Centres and running opposite way to floor rails then you will be fine to put most things inside (ground bearers no smaller than 3x2 tanalised lay these on 4" dpc get this from most DIY shops).
With the above in place it will allow air flow under building preventing damp and will be there after we have gone  .

Hope this is of some help.
