Hello there,

Pretty newbie on DIY so thought I would check on here.

Would like to pain the garden door.

Nothing was done to it the last two years for sure.

What do you think I should get done to it so to make sure that it does not rot and to make sure that we maintain it in his best possible condition.

If I wanted to go fancy and get some colour / shade like the culprinol range, do the wood need to be treated? or should I keep it just natural with wood preserver?

It looks like it's suffered in the hands of B. Bucknell Esq, but if you want to keep it / tart it up a bit then consider the Sadolin Garden Product range.....it will darken the wood a bit but it will last rather longer.
The posts / step could do with some TLC!

Would you still recommend the Sandoline product? versus a fancy colorful culprinol?

I don't want to have to do it every year but just maintain it so it look nicer and avoid any further damage.
