Hi, not a DIY question as I am not stupid about gas.

I moved in to my bungalow 7 years ago but have never used the gas fire as it has not been serviced since I moved in.

I went looking for a new gas fire today as we are planning to redecorate the room.

I am limited to type because the fire has a pre-cast flue. Property built in 1986 and I suspect the current fire was installed then.

I was not too impressed by my options available and thought many were just the same as I have already.

My current fire is a Robinson Willey True Flame 2. It looks hardly used.

Would I be better off getting the RW serviced or buy new?

Thanks for any advice.

Far cheaper to just get it serviced! Should not be more than about £40-£90 unless there is a fault!
