My flue exits horizontally pointing toward my neighbour.
It is 1.5m away from the wall of their house.
The Guide to the Condensing Boiler Installation Assessment Procedure for Dwellings document declares the distance should be a minimum 2·5m from a facing wall, fence, building, or the property boundary" for condensing boilers.
Is this correct?

I actually thought it was 1.8m or boiler manufacturer recommendation.

Mind you I havent needed to know about it for a long time.....

Usually it’s manufacturers instructions that will give you the correct guidance for your boiler as each are different.

Yes 2.5m is the recommenced distance so as to not cause a nuisance. But to comply if it does cause a nuisance then plume diverter kits can be fitted.

The regs are 600mm (opposite)

The 2.5M is there only to prevent nuisance from plume. if there is no nuisance, then 600mm suffices. What's your specific problem.

That’s exactly what I thought.
