Same thing. Put a 3A fuse in the plug.
Yes as above, it will be a standard 13A plug, that is why a 13A supply has been recommended.
In reality the hob will require much less than that to ignite the burners, the manufacturers should have fitted a fuse no greater than 3A in the plug.
So there is no issue using a standard 13A socket outlet to plug in to.
