Gas leak help

Have you done any work in the property recently i.e. Floors/ carpets /hanging pictures/ shelving etc? If so then it'll be worth noting to whoever comes what has been done in case there's a chance the gas supply has been caught by something like a nail/screw etc.

Just heads up. Had engineer from gas safe website out to trace leak and it was the pipe that runs to the kitchen to feed to gas supply for the cooker/hob(I have electric hob/cooker) so we agreed to bypass that and run new pipework.
Not much more to say really.
Was here 1hr 15min and charged me £50
Glad its sorted

Thanks to all ya guys for ya help.

OP: I told you most Trades are honest, (you seemed a bit nervous about the situation)and your guy seems remarkably inexpensive. You should keep him as your Gasman. Glad it is sorted with no drama.
