Would quite like to have my big lump of a gas meter moved to outside, to remove it from taking up space under the stairs, and the point of entry moved so as to lose 3-4m of internal pipe.
(Yeah - I know, not cheap.)
Q though am I likely to be forced to have a smart one? I know that right now I can refuse if they "offer" me one but if Im requesting a move would they have me over a barrel?
I know that having one is not compulsory, but nor is moving the meter - would it be a case of "Take it or leave it. Smart meter or no meter move. Your choice"?
