Hi

I'm new to this thread so unsure if anyone can help but i'm going to fire away regardless.

I have just got a job exchanging gas meters in north london with a company called Pargas who are based in Enfield. What i'm basically wondering is if anyone has or is currently working for them and what they are like as employers?

Also any advice from anyone who is currently exchanging gas meters in london would be appreciated

Thanks a lot

There are people who post on herre who have taken meter jobs in london, if you post this in the combustion chamber you will more likely get an answer. I did 3 weeks for a company in portsmouth , it was a pain in the rear , jobs all over the place, couldn't get in to half them and I also had to do warrants which I would strongly reccomend no one does!! Punters tend to get a bit annoyed if they come into there house to find you disconnecting there gas after a locksmith has opened the door !!

Tend to find people are perfectly ok with the fitter on repossesions but the baliff tends to get a pile off sh#te off them, left out in the cold while they make you a cuppa.
Amazing how quick the chippie can get into a house and a lot of the time without leaving a trace.
Not unusual to find dead bodies either which is why bills have gone unpaid.
Used to be interesting when you looked down the list and had a couple of mates to do
