Can anyone offer any advice....

I was told that the gas pressure on our combi boiler should be between 1.5 and 2.0. The other day i notice that it had dropped to 1.0 so attempted to raise the pressure (bad move!). Well the pressure has now gone too high - 3.0. Does anyone know how to get it back down?

1 that is not the gas pressure (i hope) its the water pressure in the rads

2 open a bleed valve on a rad and catch the water in a bucket

3 post back when you flood the house(joke) ;)

oh, must be the water pressure then! there's a round dial on the front of the boiler...

I opened the valve, turning it one way turned the pressure up and turning the other way seemed to do the same thing... maybe I didn't turn it enough? Boilers and valves are very scarey things![/b]
