Hi all,

i'm sure this will be frowned upon by some of you, but i'll ask anyway.
have misplaced my gas rate chart, im sure you know what i mean. instead of calculating you just time the meter then cross reference the chart. nice and easy!!

does anyone have a link to an image i can print off?? yes i have searched, probably under the wrong words!

out of intrest do yoiu guys use them? my old boss always did. and they were fine with us having them in college too.

thanks

Its horseshit anyway as the CV of the gas used in the calc is usually miles out as what is actually 'being used'

found that at college every time we got given some litreture it had a different CV

CV is always higher in Scotland as gas comes from St Fergus..
Lower if you live near Isle of Grain or the other LNG sites, Easington always used to be bad....There are however legal thresholds for gas quality.... just always nicer to have higher CV :D

just clicked add as friend kevplumb as i couldnt seem to see your email on your profile??

do you not think it is just as easy to do the gas rate calculation rather than look up the chart

Reference chart isnt accurate.... say for an E6 meter, you cant always time exactly 2mins because the index hasnt changed. You have to wait till it does and use the seconds in the calculation..

Could be 127seconds for example.... Use the chart and the gas rate can show to be out
