Hi can anyone tell me what type of gas regulator this is as it doesn't fit the standard calor gas butane cylinders. What gas bottle do i need for this regulator? Thanks

It's not a design that I've seeen before but, if it's a good bit bigger than your butane bottle's fitting, it could be for a patio gas bottle.

A picture with the markings / maker name of the reg might help?

UK:
Butane clip on can be 20mm or 21mm.
Propane clip on (aka Patio gas) is different again at 27mm.

Then there are a variety of "Continental" gas regulators... That one google lens suggests to be for Spanish gas bottles? :

Fit a UK bottle regulator in its place to the hose (assuming it's under 5 years old, if older replace the hose as well).

This could be Spanish but no idea here are some markings....

This was going to be my next question. I can replace the regulator seen in the picture with a UK bottle regulator? If I do this, what are the universal numbers on a UK regulator I need to look for to fit a 7kg to 15kg blue butane bottle? 29bar?

Is it a fire sold in the UK?
Guy who sold me it said it was used in a holiday home so most likely bought outside the UK.

Maybe but what canister is this in the video as it looks like the same regulator as mine and the video looks like it's based in the UK

Cemco appears to be a Chilean company.
Ditch it and buy a British gas bottle with a regulator to suit.

Looks to Spanish language on the regulator to my eyes. Guess they speak that in Chile?

That video is not of a UK Calor butane bottle, nor is it the right Calor red for propane. AIUI the YouTube dealer place is possibly in Ireland (EU) and they may well use different tank colours and regulators there?
(I know one can't easily swap Calor cylinders when visiting in touring caravans and motorhomes both, N & S if memory serves me right, so the whole island.)

Calor in Northern Ireland do 35mm jumbo clip on regulators https://shop.calorgas.ie/calor-esse...tane-clip-on-gas-regulator-with-rain-cap.html so must have suitable cylinders for rent... (Yellow, 5kg it would seem),

https://www.amazon.co.uk/CALOR-GAS-Butane-Regulator-Warranty/dp/B0757X4VDK is the correct Butane Calor regulator with new hose. Change the hose, as you don't know how old it is, for safety reasons.

May be worth getting a Gas Safe (or equivalent) with LPG certificates to give the heater a once over? And use a CO detector in the room with it.

Thanks guys for the help. I will buy one similar to the one on Amazon from b and q.

The hose looks new or is this not something to go by? Thanks again

Hoses should be replaced after 5 years from first use with lpg gas*.

There should be a manufacture date on the hose which may assure you a bit? But for the cost of new I'd urge you to buy a replacement.

* with a few exceptions such as Stainless steel braided gas hoses have a 10 year life, I think.

Hi, I've just learnt the hose on this gas fire is 9mm and the calor gas regulators that fit the butane blue cylinders have 8mm on the outlet.

So my question is if the hose is 9mm on this gas fire then it's safe too assume the outlet on the regulator pictured above is 9mm and the inlet on the gas fire is also 9mm which means i can't buy a calor gas regulator as they all have 8mm outlets?

Unless an 8mm outlet on standard calor gas regulator will fit a 9mm hose?
