Genus 23 MFFI

This Genus 23 MFFI stays on as far as the power on even when the stats is right down, it goes off when the reed switch diconnected, what could it be the problem?

If reed switch is making boiler continuously run, then it seems as though it is faulty :rolleyes: Why are you so sure it is ok :?:

because when it is out from the boiler it is open circuit and the water flow in the heating circuit close it.

don't know what to say, some one thinks the main thermistor, I might try that and see :confused:

it was the main thermistor, as this tells the boiler that it is frosted and that keep the boiler on, the reed switch is one of the causes, but as I said it was ok as you can tested out of the boiler.

what are you talking about, its done by changing that and its only less than £10, by the way do you know what are we talking about? I think you haven't got and idea, and in the future keep your language to your self
