Hello all

I have ripped up a carpet from the living room (I am renting).

There is laminet flooring underneath it, which is in perfectly good condition.

However, the carpet that was above it, was stuck down on top of it by the skirting.

How do I remove the adhesive marks? Is there a cleaner i can get to remove it? Or is it just alot of elbow grease with a sharp object to take it up?

Thanks!

So the carpet was stuck down to the laminate flooring with a type of double sided tape, and it's left a sticky residue? You could try squirting some WD40 on to it and leaving for a few minutes, and then use a plastic scraper to get it off.

Where any marks are left, try toothpaste on a damp sponge...pinenot :)
