I have already installed a shower light with fan, but this was not
strong enough so I have insalled an additional fan no problems up til
now. I have fed the wiring back to the existing double switch again
ok so far. Now the problem.

the back of the switch is as follows :

Top of switch

COM
Existing Fan - Neutral (Black)

L1
Mains Neutral (Black sheathed Red)

L2
Empty

Bottom of switch

COM
Mains Live (Red)

L1
Existing Fan Live (Red)

L2
Empty

The additional timer fan being installed has three wires L N LS and
it is these that I am not sure where to connect. I have connected
this with 3 core cable (L=Brown) (N=Blue) and (LS=Grey)

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciative

Thanks
Panzer

You wanna re-type that without the neutral references. This will only serve to confuse everyone.

Neutrals never EVER connect to light switches.

Also type the COM L1 and L2 in the order they appear left to right.

Why do you have a 2-gang switch in a bathroom? What does it control?

Any chance of a picture? this will help more than a description.

If you go to a post that you have created you will see a handy button at the top called 'EDIT'. Its magic what they can do these days!

You have taken the cable back to the switch - this is your error. Find where the other fans cable goes backto.

By the look of it, one switch does the light and the other the fan?

With these shower fan lights, I often quote the customer for the standard kit, with the option to ditch the supplied axial fan and replacing it with a Vent axia ACM100 - costing circa £100. The difference is enormous.

There are cheaper high volume centrigual fans, but the Vent Axia is the top dog.
