Getting infection from unblocking guttering or downpipes

    I pulled this downpipe down unblock it and all the muck came over me. Can you get ill from this? Not sure if there was any birds poo in it. Everything is really dry. 15633789247596863471866891608942.jpg

    What's the blue thing that looks like a downlight? (r/h side on the soffit). Is that something to do with the alarm?

    Well.. the preventative in my case, means bringing me to my senses and putting the ladders away, me and ladders don't mix anymore.
