Getting the freehold the statutory route

Our seller - E and J Estates suddenly decided to not sell us the freehold to our block of flats after offering it over a year ago. Messed us around for a year with no communication from their solicitor-Freddie something. We do now have the option of going down the statutory route however to purchase it. But many residents are getting fed up with how long this has been dragging on. There's also a requirement of 3 flats per block to participate (5 or 6 flats per the four blocks.) 50% min to go statutory route.

Finding the whole process exhausting as no one else is bothering to put much effort in except another two.


Can each individual block get its own freehold regardless of other three blocks?

Also, to work out the valuation cost of the freehold I've got the formula. This-


I have two leases on my flat , what is the start of lease date, original lease term? My flat built in 1975 so would original one be from there? Where do I find it? The extension was made it 125yrs in 2016. Thectwo leases run concurrently
 
You can always live in your van if you get kicked out...as long as you've cleaned up all that weedkiller.
