Apperture is 28mm will CEF sell what I need or is it likely to be a trip to MAPLINS?

I'm not sure any 28mm gland will be able to compress down to the diameter of the cable you have there - surely it can't be any larger than 3x2.5? I'd look at sourcing a reducer and then fitting a more sensibly sized gland. I'd also question whether or not the supply is actually of a suitable size for the UPS in question - mine at home has a gland entry approximately the same size, and it requires a 63A SP supply!

Hi UK, the cores are 4mm, outer sheath measures about 16mm, cable has a 32A sticker on it!!!!

Col thanks for that dead helpful
