not exectly a diy quetion but was just wondering if there are any tip if you have got gloss on good cloths i got it off with turps but still a faint mark

If you meant clothes, take them to a good dry-cleaner, point the marks out, and ask for specialist stain removal.
In my experience (sketchleys) have a small workshop with a few old hands who can do an amazingly good job (they got emulsion off a woollen suit with no mark at all). They have a range of special cleaning agents for a lot of different stains (if you have bloodstains they contact the police though - true!)
You have to ask for it to be done before washing or standard dry-cleaning as the heat and chemicals can make stains set. If the person in the shop does not understand what you want, take it somewhere else. i think there is a Dry Cleaners Association that maintains standards and testing laboratories for specialist cleaning.
