Hi! Am planning to tile two walls of our bathroom. I have a specific ceramic tile size (75 x 300mm) and colour (ivory/cream) in mind and would ideally like a gloss glaze on them as I feel, but am not sure, that might be easier to keep clean than tiles with a matt glaze? However, every gloss, ivory tile I can find (in the 75mm size) either has wonky or curvy edges and/or a bumpy face... they tell me it is 'rustic' and 'artisan' but I say it is 'degenerate'... I like straight edges and smooth faces!
I've managed to find a very nice looking tile which fits the bill but it has a matt finish...

I've been told it does not need sealing and that it is glazed, and that the matt finish is achieved by not giving it as many coats of glaze as a gloss tile would have.
We use a shower curtain so the tiles won't actually have water flowing onto them, just a bit of condensation settling on them. Our bathroom is prone to mould build up at the tops and corners of the external walls in the colder months, so I'm just concerned whether or not mould (and other stains) would more readily cling to, and be harder to clean off of a matt glaze than a gloss glaze tile?
I've ordered a sample of this tile and will test it to see if I can deliberately stain it / clean it up etc. If anyone has any experience, advice, opinion they can share I'd be very grateful.
