Tried various brands over the last few years - all this water based stuff is crap.

Previously with oil based gloss you would get a smooth, enamel like finish. You could not see the brush marks.

Now with the water based, it is like semi gloss undercoat.

Can anyone recommend a gloss that is good and which dries without brush marks?

Thanks

Oil paints still go yellow. You have to learn to paint with water based paints, the technique is different.

The dulux quick drying is supposed to be good, i've used the undercoat and its great to use so will try the gloss when the chance comes.

Agree with Joe, its the way forward and best get used to it if you're in the trade.
