Hello all
My very first posting which is to do with my swiftflow. It has started to struggle maintaining hot water to our shower, everything downstairs runs ok and the bathroom taps just the shower. It fires up ok but then knocks off after 30secs or so. Any ideas?

If it runs ok for all other taps etc then I would begin by suspecting the shower itself and make sure that the head is clean and flow rate is correct.Other probs may be flow switch or restricted heat exch. These have a twin pass heat exch.

Hello and thanks for that..... I took your advice and removed the shower head, checked and cleaned although it is quite new'ish. I've found that if i turn the shower to max temp leave to run then reduce it does give you longer to shower before it cools. What i forgot to tell you was the shower in question is on the upper most floor (terrace withloft conversion) and the boiler is 12yrs old.
