Hi all
I have a Glow-Worm Ultimate 30c combi boiler and there are only two wires to the room thermostat.
I am about to wire in a Hive Receiver which shows it needs four wires.
I am pretty sure the existing wires are simply for ON/OFF and use 24v.
And the Receiver needs 240v to power it.
Am I right in assuming that the wires to the Receiver are as follows...
N- Permanent 240v Neutral connection.
L- Permanent 240v Live Connection.
1- Common, unused.
2- Heating OFF so one of the two existing wires from the existing thermostat.
3- Heating ON the remaining of the two existing wires from the existing thermostat.
Or... are terminal 1, the common and terminal 3, heating ON the two I use for the existing thermostat wires?
Any help would be appreciated.
