gloworm 30cx boiler

need to remove a rad from the system but the boiler pipework has no filling loop, does this type of boiler not need a filling loop? thanks.

the filling loop is underneath the boiler. blue knob. . Try topping it up first before you do any work as they often break, so best to find out before you start work.
