hello I hope someone can help.
the problem is a very loud monotone almost electrical
whining noise, occuring in hot water mode only.
the boiler is nearly two years old and part of a new system.
I am a registered installer workin for a firm. I installed this as
a favour for a member of my family.

I have spoke to glowworm and where unhelpfull. Never heard of this
problem before and suggested a manufactures visit for repair.
I have spoken to some friends and they have heard of a
similar problem on baxi's due to qaulity of o rings in the diverter?

unfortunately i did'nt flush the system as well or as quickly
as i should.(but have done so now) so flux's could have damaged these parts as well.

I had been thinking of changing the diverter, but not sure
100% its this.
any advice much appreciated this is driving my uncle nuts.

As the Gas valves moulates you can some times here the motor inside moving. Some are louder than others.

Make sure the gas pressure is OK and you are getting enough hot water.

Have come across this many times a local council used an installer who either did not flush or clean syst. properly result the divertor valve would spin usually in dhw mode.Changing the divertor cartridge will fix, but may only be short term agood flush will help at same time. Also to much inhibitor causrs the sams symptom
