Hi,

I have noticed the blue plastic cap at the bottom of the condense trap has started to split and is therefore slowly leaking water (see picture). It is a glowworm 330 condensing boiler. Why is it doing this? Do i just need to obtain a new cap or is the problem likely to be something else? I'm thinking of opening it up tomorrow but do i just take the cap off or take out and clean the whole condense trap? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks

you can get a new cap, but better to put in an updated trap which doesnt have the cap. Although that would technically be gas work.
