Going Rate for job

I met a bloke standing outside the local last night, I was well wrapped up for the snow as its bloody cold up here. He asked "how much for a pint?", I said £1.85 went inside and had some drinks.

Bumped into him first thing this morning and he punched me in the face. I asked him why did he do that. He replied "I asked you how much a pint was and you told me £1.85. It cost me £27.50" Looking puzzled I asked "how come?" He said "the pub I wanted to go to was twenty miles away and I had to pay taxi (pony and trap) there and back and the pint was more expensive there". He called me a t*ss*er and walked off.

I think he was the t*ss*er, he should have asked someone LOCAL.
