Hi all,

hope your well now your back at the boozer

So after a long haul we are about to exchange (fingers crossed it really happens this time)

the property has space around it to build.

I want to find a way of producing a rough plan that I could present to an architect for him to tweak and play with and then send to the planners.

does anyone have suggestions of a good computer programme?

many thanks
Mark

Yes the software/presentation is irrelevant, he'll do all his own drawings, all you need to do is a fag packet sketch with a biro on some A4.

I've always used Microsoft word for that.
There's a drawing tool which is easy to use.

Get lots of Lego and build a model?

:D

Paper (lines/squares) and a pencil.
You also need a pencil sharpener and an eraser.

Get him round to take a look, explain what you want, leave him to it. Ours made some suggestions which we adopted and are really pleased with the finished extension.

By all means have a rough sketch, but you are paying him for his expertise, as Woody says let him earn it.
