In the recent election he received more votes than Hillary did in the previous. And almost certainly many of the votes for Biden were anti-Trump rather than for Biden. Half of America wants to see the back of Trump - he is hated.
So I am sticking to my earlier point that More people have voted for Trump in this election than for any other presidential candidate in history. To be the most hatred and most liked person in the US simultaneously is some achievement.
Whether you love or hate him, he has an astonishing amount ff well armed followers who idolise him. It would be quite funny if it wasn't as serious.

Much of what he has been doing since his defeat is to keep his followers as interested as possible and also for as long as possible so he can stand again next time.
