Only someone who reads The Guardian would think it's sensible and balanced. Because they told you to think that.
Everyone should be following Trump's moves. All the research shows that the USA is hurtling into authoritarianism at a faster rate than Russia under Putin. And that was before Trump sent his director of national intelligence to Georgia last week to try to overturn the 2020 election result. The director of national intelligence isn't even allowed legally to be involved in domestic matters like this. Something very bad is brewing.
The fat orange rapist has certainly been making a lot of headlines lately. I especially like the one featuring the heavily funded, much touted front runner in the Texas senate race. Once Trump lent his endorsement to the poor sap - she LOST bigly and badly.

I can appreciate why some people might think like that.
But it is a rather parochial view. If the USA becomes a far right dictatorship, then the effects on the rest of the world will be enormous. And Trump seems especially keen on hurting US former allies.
Do you suffer from anxiety? Nothing is going to happen. Trump is the president for a reason, he’s there to keep you occupied!
