It is fine in the circumstances blup outlined:
'(1) A person who—
(a) is with another person at a polling booth, and
(b) intends to influence that other person to vote in a particular way or to refrain from voting,
commits an offence.'
I’ve seen with my own eyes people helping the voter, how else can they vote? A ballot is never secret because the ballot paper and counterfoil have matching numbers.
Disabled people are the exception.

Exactly, the wording isn’t absolute. The law clearly needs to be changed to say anyone who votes in a way that pusses off Farrage is guilty of an offence . Kind of like what is happening right now in that bastion of democracy Trumpfland.

As has been touched on, if there were concerns about family voting, was this raised at the time at the places in question?
And let's face it, even if true, there are thousands upon thousands of people who just vote the way their partners and/or family vote. I've heard a good few (white British) people say so over the years. 'tbh I just vote the way my partner votes' kind of thing. No, not the same as collusion, however still votes that are being placed without any real independent thought.
And Reform might need to get used to something else. Given the way they often refer to black/brown people, don't be surprised if these groups rally to try and keep you out.

What, they can’t read/write 'X' against a name they can recognise on the voting slip you mean, or does the 'helper' explain the policies of each candidate to the person to enable them to make up their own mind? Pull the other one!
Any different from someone saying I'm voting for 'X' because that's the way my family have always voted?
But if the figures given are correct it certainly didn't affect this vote, and how do we know they weren't indeed just helping?
Tbh I'd be more a little bit more concerned about any abuse of the system arising from proxy voting.
Edit: Since the people we are talking about here are probably from the sub continent, it's quite possible that they might need help.
In India for example political parties are often given a symbol (such as a bicycle) for those who are unable to read.
Since the gap was over 4,000 votes this 'family voting' claim sounds like sour grapes being squeezed in a desperate attempt to make a more potent whine.
