I assume it was just a bit of a poke at the old fashioned 'alive' warning, which would usually be replaced with just 'live' on any modern sign. Just like I always have to smile when walking past an old DB installed in one of the bays where I work, with a sign labelled "Danger - Electricity".
If thats asbestos on that flue, maybe thats Alive.

In the engineering department when I was at uni they had some signs that said "Danger - Medium Voltage". This obviously confused anybody unaware of the wiring regs!
I actually fully expect it to be asbestos on the exhaust - luckily this is a photo from a site that is due to be decommisioned and redeveloped.

Please do not hotlink images. Use your own bandwidth or a public image host.
MrsBanal - If the image is hosted on your site, perhaps you should implement some hotlinking prevention rather than persecuting each and every person that links to an image.
