Granite tiles Help

Hi

We are considering buying 22 sqm of 60 x30 absolute black granite tiles. What is the best method of cutting them, will a Plasplugs electric cutter be okay????

Will the tiles need to be sealed, the tile company says no but I have heard conflicting comments on sealing.
