i have a 9 year old Worcester Greenstar CDi30 boiler, seems it has an intermittent problem with the pump not running when a call for heating is made, so it heats up internally without circulating the water and trips out until it cools. The pump works fine (replaced 2 years ago), no issues with seizing etc, and i have found that if it simply pull the power cable from the pump then reattach it immediately springs into life and the heated water is circulated away from the boiler. Is this indicative of a faulty PCB? Seems that the 'brain' isn't telling the pump to run sometimes...?

Heating company wants to replace the pump head, pcb, and transformer. Sounds like an issue they didn't properly diagnose and want to throw everything at it!
